Exploring Sydney

The view of the Sydney Harbor Bridge from our hotel room is spectacular!  The bridge is nick named the coat hanger because of its arch-based design. It is the widest long-span and tallest steel arch bridge in the world. The 4 pylons on either side of the bridge are completely decorative.

The Iconic Sydney Opera House. It was completed in 1973, taking 14 years, 10000 construction workers, and a cost of $102 million!!!
15500 light bulbs are changed every year. It hosts a minimum of 3000 shows per year.
The concert hall’s grand organ is the largest mechanical instrument in the world, with 10154 pipes. It took 10 years to build.

Seagull patrol at the Opera House, I think Indy would love this job!

Bondi Beach, beautiful sand beach with lots of surfers!

We walked across the Sydney Harbor Bridge...  No way Sue is doing the bridge climb!!!

The bridge climb is WAY up there!
